Charlene S from New Jersey chose Ellingham Elephant to make as a gift. To create a larger finished size, she stitched additional background blocks and centered the elephant. She finished the edges of the elephant with a blanket stitch.
The background blocks were quilted on the diagonals. Quilting on the elephant itself added emphasis.
